Jed's on Fire...

Jed’s come out with a couple of corkers lately and here’s two from last night…

He was lying in bed with me watching the cricket…

Jed: Mum, can I sleep in here all night tonight?

Me: No you can’t, honey. You have your own bed and it’ll get lonely if you don’t sleep in it.

Jed: Well then, YOU sleep in it tonight and keep it company!

Let me tell ya… It was never going to happen.

So I put the little bugger into bed and was reading “Cars” to him. I was reading the story and he was looking at the pictures when he pointed to a framed newspaper article in the background of the picture, shook his head, tut-tutted and said “oh, the big wreck of ‘54”... like he was there... remembered it all... and it was painful!
