An artist should sign their work... or should they?
We’re in the middle of a kitchen renovation and for the last fortnight our dining table has resided in the lounge room.
Late last week I returned the table to the kitchen and when I went back into the lounge room I noticed a beautiful piece of art on the wall under where the table had been.
Me: Jed… Did you do this?
Jed: No. Wasn’t me.
Me: Jeeeddd??
Jed: I didn’t do it. Really. Don’t you believe me?
Me: No. No, I don’t believe you.
Jed: I telling the truth.
Me: Jed, next time you’re going to lie… make sure you don’t sign your work!
There, in the middle of all the scribble was a big “Jed”
