Teachers have first names?

Bonnie’s class recently found out that their teacher has a first name. When this amazing fact came to light, Mrs Cooper addressed the class and told them that Mr Cooper doesn’t call her Mrs Cooper at home and yes, her name is Karen. She then reinforced that she is their teacher and they are to call her Mrs Cooper and under NO circumstances are they to call her Karen.

With that out of the way, work needed to be done so Mrs Cooper starts handing out papers to all the students. She puts one on Bonnie’s desk, Bonnie looks Mrs Cooper in the face, winks at her and says “thanks Karen”.
